We will only need to meet 2 requirements:
- Install Nova Launcher app.
- Download an icon of a Christmas tree for WhatsApp .
What is Nova Launcher and what does it consist of?
Nova Launcher is a free application from the Android ecosystem that allows us to customize our entire Smartphone . So we can change the application drawer, put other wallpapers and even replace the WhatsApp icon with a Christmas tree (as is the case).

Download An Icon Of A Christmas Tree For WhatsApp 2023
Have you installed Nova Launcher? Well, now you only have to download a Christmas tree icon for WhatsApp . This is as simple as going to Google and following these steps:
- We write “Christmas Tree Icon” without quotes.
- We enter Google Images .
On the next screen we will have a list of Christmas tree emojis for WhatsApp , so we will only have to select the one we like the most and then follow these instructions:
- We leave our finger clicking on the icon of the Christmas tree.
- In the menu we click on “Save Image” .
How to Change WhatsApp Icon for Christmas Tree Step by Step 2023
We will have to choose Nova Launcher to be in charge of customizing the interface of the device, so we must choose “Always” .
In this way, the interface of our mobile will be permanently changed as long as we do not delete the Nova Launcher app.
The next step is simple since we only have to create a WhatsApp shortcut on the Home screen .
Once we have the icon on the home screen of the mobile, we must leave our finger by clicking on the WhatsApp icon and then edit it by pressing the pencil icon .
A section will appear where we can edit the shortcut icon in order to change it to the Christmas tree emoji that we previously downloaded .
On this screen we will have 3 options:
- Incorporated.
- Applications.
- Get more themes.
We select “Applications” .
In this way we will see all the default galleries of our device , so we only have to choose the one that best suits our needs.
Once in the gallery we must select the icon of the Christmas tree for WhatsApp that we previously downloaded.
- We can adjust the borders.
- When we finish we click on “Done” .
On the next screen we can customize the icon by selecting “Redesign” and we can even change the name of the shortcut. Once everything is to our liking, we will only have to click on “Done” .
